Jude Thaddaeus, also known as Judas or Thaddaeus, was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. He is believed to have been a relative of Jesus and preached the Gospel with great enthusiasm. He is now venerated as the Patron Saint of Hopeless Causes and is known for his intercession in difficult situations. His feast day is celebrated on October 28th in the Western Church and June 19th and August 21st in the Eastern Church.
