Saint Philip

Saint Philip was an apostle of Jesus and a follower of John the Baptist. He was born in Bethsaida, Galilee and is mentioned in the lists of Matthew as one of the Apostles. He helped to spread Christianity throughout Greece, Syria, and Phrygia. During the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand, he was present with Jesus. He is also known as Saint Philip the Apostle and his feast days are May 3rd (Western) and November 14th (Eastern).
