An Apostle of Jesus is someone who was chosen by Jesus to spread his teachings and help build the foundation of the Christian faith. The 12 Apostles were Jesus’ closest followers, and their names were Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (the son of Alpheus), Thaddaeus (Jude), Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot. They were tasked with spreading the gospel and establishing churches throughout the world. As an Apostle of Jesus today, one would strive to live a life that reflects Jesus’ teachings and serve as a witness to others about His love and grace.
