Saint John

Saint John the Apostle, also known as Saint John the Beloved, was one of Jesus’ Twelve Apostles. He is often depicted in art with an eagle, symbolizing his spiritual insight and vision. He is the patron saint of love, loyalty, friendships, authors and is believed to have written the Gospel of John. He was a Galilean fisherman’s son and was called by Jesus in His first year of public ministry. He lived alongside Christ for many years and wrote several books of the Bible.
